The Community
Beside our wonderful year-long music program, Archangel Music Program also provides a winter camp during the school winter recess in February. This program has been a success for parents who enjoy having their children in a safe, fun and learning environment instead of having them staying home and exposed to the influence of television.
Archangel Music Program: Winter Camp is a special opportunity for children to spend uninterrupted time together, to share and grow creatively and to strengthen their relationship. The students will have the opportunity to create rhythms, write poetry, problem solve, play theatre games, talk and laugh and learn how to read, speak, write and sing in French. This program concentrates on reinforcing parents-children relationship as parents are encouraged to team up with their children and work on special projects.

Community Support:
Archangel Music Program has sponsored more than 5 pathfinders through its gift of more than $500.00.
This gift has allowed these pathfinders to go to Oshkosh, Wisconsin during the summer of 2009.
Archangel Music Program mission is to enhance awareness of the fundamental task that arts or particularly music education transmit in a child’s development, building self-confidence and essential skills such as focus, determination, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence. Introducing music to young children will provide them with a foundation to help develop language and listening skills, along with enhanced coordination and emotional development. Little children love to express themselves through music and given the opportunity, will reap the benefits of a lifetime of music appreciation.
